A Written Representations appeal was allowed today for three 4 bedroom dwellings and one 5 bedroom dwelling in Coulsdon, South Croydon.
In determining the appeal the Inspector considered the character and appearance of the area to be the main issue.
The Inspector found that the proposed development would respect the character and appearance of the locality and be of an appropriate density, layout and design. It would meet the Government's objective of making the best use of urban land in a way that would be appropriate to its context.
