Planning permission was allowed for the erection of three No. 4 bedroom dwellings in the Wooded Hillside in Warlingham. (TAN/430/SC/C38)
Two co-joined appeals have been determined regarding proposals to erect three dwellings in the wooded hillside in Warlingham. Appeal A sought the erection 3 x 6 bedroom dwellings and Appeal B sought the erection of 3 x 4 bedroom dwellings.
Appeal A was dismissed by the Inspector who found that the proposed dwellings would be too prominent given their size and that plot 3 would be unnacceptably dominated by trees.
Appeal B was allowed by the Inspector who found that the views of the dwellings proposed would be consistent with the established character of the wooded hillside, and the existing low density of development adjacent to the Green Belt.
